We crafted a new cafe within the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art, drawing inspiration from the essence of Japanese design culture.

Characterized by clean lines, natural materials, and a restrained monochromatic palette, our design reflects the principles of Japanese aesthetics.

The concept of "Ma," emphasizing the significance of space between objects, guides our approach to creating balance and harmony.

In our design, we utilized floating slats of birch wood, drawing influence from Scandinavian aesthetics.

For instance, the co-work table embodies perfect balance and asymmetry, supported by a box filled with fine white sand and featuring a central bonsai tree—an homage to Japanese Zen gardens.
